Shifted to New Premises
|

Are you ready for the Digital Healthcare future?
The world is going digital. Digital photos, digital music, digital communications, etc.
This shift from analogue to digital is occurring
in medicine too with Radiology as one of the pioneers
in the new digital health care world. CT, MRI and Cath.
Lab images have been digital (also known as DICOM images) for a while.
Now Ultrasound images and X-rays (DR or CR) are available in the same digital format.
The marriage of Digital content and the Internet has
enabled instant access to your data anytime and anywhere
in the world - provided you have the right software.
Raster iPACS is your software solution to the Digital Healthcare future . It is the glue that connects various
digital radiology sources and delivers on the promise
of anywhere, anytime viewing of images while providing
secure storage for the images. Waiting for films to
arrive is a thing of the past.
What is PACS? How can PACS help me?
PACS replaces hard-copy based means of managing medical
images, such as film archives and provided you with
instant access to the images at your desk on your
PC workstation. It expands on the possibilities of
conventional systems by providing capabilities of
off-site viewing and reporting (tele-radiology &
tele-diagnosis).
Additionally, it enables practitioners at various
physical locations to access the same information
simultaneously. With the decreasing price of digital
storage, PACS systems provide a growing cost and space
advantage over film archives, assuring you of a quick
RoI.
Medico Legal Case films can now be accessed in an
instant. No more searching for lost films before a court date!
Who needs PACS?
Hospitals, clinics, imaging centers and specialists.
In short, all healthcare providers can benefit from
the time savings and efficiencies a PACS system brings in.
Raster iPACS Server
Raster iPACS is fully DICOM standards compliant. The
server software runs on a high performance multi-core
scalable servers. The server runs on Linux to assure
stability. All data is stored on RAID hard drives
to ensure maximum data integrity even in the event
of a hard disk failure. Online storage options range
from 1TB to 128 TB
High speed connectivity
Raster iPACS connects to a Gigabit ethernet backbone to ensure speedy transfer of images.
Store anything
Non-DICOM equipment with a video output can be captured
and converted to DICOM using the Raster DICOMIZER
for storage on the PACS server.
Printouts such as Radiology & Lab reports and
Pulmonary function tests can be converted into DICOM
images using Print to DICOM for storage on the PACS server.
Image viewing

Use your existing PC infrastructure to view images.
Access to images is through the JAVA Raster DICOM viewer for Hardware and Operating System independence.
Raster iPACS webview is available for quick viewing the images from any where in the world from within your browser. Even the iPhone can be used to access images

Raster Hyperion is an advanced workstation specifically
designed for navigation and visualization of multimodality and multidimensional images: 2D, 3D, 4D (3D series with temporal dimension, for example: Cardiac-CT) and 5D (3D series with temporal
and functional dimensions, for example: Cardiac-PET-CT)
The 3D Viewer offers all modern rendering modes: Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), Surface Rendering, Volume Rendering and Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP). All these modes support 4D data and are able to produce image fusion between two different series (for example: PET-CT).
Integrates with Sonocare

Raster iPACS integrates with Sonocare, the industry’s leading Ultrasound workflow & reporting software solution.
Both, images and reports, can be stored in the server.
DICOM standards support & features*
Raster iPACS complies with the latest DICOM 3.0
standard. These includes a DICOM Worklist (GPWL)server that integrates with your existing HIS and RIS through HL 7 to simplify workflow management.
Reports can be stored as DICOM Structured Reports
SR) on the server. Procedure information can stored in the server as DICOM Modality Performed Procedure Step (MPPS)
Storage, archival management and offline storage

Hard disks can be configured with RAID levels from 1 to 6 to maintain data integrity and availability even in the even of a disk failure. For the ultimate in redundancy
two servers can be mirrored to maintain maximum uptime.
Depending on the configuration, an almost unlimited storage capacity can be configured for online access - up tp 128 TB per server rack in the enterprise configurations.
Automate long term storage to optical media such as DVD and Blu-ray is available as an option.
After sales support
All software and hardware is warrantied for one year.
We have a dedicated team to provide 24x7 support online,
over the phone and by email. The software is designed
to be maintained remotely by our engineers. Software updates are free during the warranty period and while under support contract.
